How Can a Canadian Enlist in the Marines

Based upon my research of what's on the internet, the only ways that a Canadian can join the Marines is by one of the following:

  • You have a greencard
  • Your parents are American citizens and can claim citizenship through them
  • You are native and can claim benefits under the Jay treaty
If you are aware of how else a Canadian can join the Marines, or any other branch of the US Military for that matter, send me an email.

  1. This website got all the information about the US
issues who are responsible for the harrasment of many travellers of U.S.

  2. you could join the canadain navy and then request to take a marine training course
since you can be embended into a us military squad and canadain force do use us military courses and bases in partnership with the us. example of this is if you want to have some advance weapons dispol traing the course is in the uk so they ship you to the uk

  4. Well I don't know specifically about the Marines, but my father was Canadian and served in the U.S. Army and I know some other Canadians who served in the U.S. military too. So unless the rules have changed, it does happen.
